How to Make A Pot

Guide that has descriptions and pictures on how to make a pot.

The value of practice and more practice cannot be underestimated. One must have a clay of good quality, with just the right characteristics for forming or 'throwing' a pot. Most of our pottery is wheel thrown, but one can make pots of functional integrity and great beauty without a potter's wheel. In the pages that follow we will show some photographs of the steps in making a pot on the potter's wheel. Mike and Elliott
