A contemporary ceramics image resource. accessCeramics: is a growing collection of contemporary ceramics images by recognized artists enhancing ceramics education worldwide.
Fred and Estelle Marer donated an international collection of contemporary ceramics, including American, British, Japanese, Korean, and Mexican works. The collection's core is focused on West Coast ceramics, especially the work of the "Otis Group," who challenged the traditional direction of the field of ceramics in the mid-1950s.
The following is an exhibition of contemporary ceramics utilizing the Internet as the gallery space. Statements by the organizers, jurors and artists along with brief resumes and digitized photos of the selected work comprise this electronic exhibition.

Alchemy: From Dust to Form presents new and innovative work from the contemporary field of American ceramics. Richly varied, the works take form as large scale sculpture, complex installations and delicate work you could cup in one hand. Artists weave function, fantasy and social critique into extraordinary and intricately crafted work.
Alchemy: From Dust to Form is organized by the Harn Museum of Art in collaboration with the UF School of Art and Art History, College of Fine Arts and funded by Michael and Donna Singer and the Harn 20th Anniversary Fund, with additional support from the Harn Program Endowment.1
