The CAG is a virtual based organization established in 2009 to help keep the "art" & "craft" of ceramics alive and sustainable industry.
The CAG has become the focal point for all who enjoy the art of slip-cast ceramics as well as other ceramic medias. Our focus is towards all forms of slip-cast ceramic projects. Since the fading of the ICA, a strong organization to represent slip-cast ceramicists has not been present. We have revitalized many of the ICA's well developed and thought out program elements, especially in the area of teaching, judging and competition. Craftsman level membership in the guild is free.

The Association of Clay and Glass Artists of California is dedicated to establishing and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and design in clay and glass. The ACGA began as the Association of San Francisco Potters in 1945. We now have over 500 members including clay and glass artists, students, patrons and supporters, galleries, network organizations and corporate sponsors from throughout California.
A primary goal of the ACGA is to provide opportunities for our members to exhibit and sell their work. The Association regularly presents museum and gallery exhibitions of clay and glass, and we present the annual Clay and Glass Festival in July at the Palo Alto Art Center.

We are potters and other clay artists from the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area of North Carolina. We meet to learn more about our clay work, to keep in touch with events in the local pottery world, and to have a good time. The guild is open to clay-workers at all levels of experience, and to those who don't make pottery but are interested in it! Our membership includes professional production potters, studio art potters, serious amateurs, hobbyists, beginners, ceramics educators, sculptors, collectors, and everything in between.
