Sculpture & Pottery
Our pottery includes both porcelain and stoneware reduction and oxidation fired vessels in a variety of colors with forms ranging from simple shapes inspired by European and American modernist pottery and architecture, to sculptural vessels that function as a vehicle for more painterly and/or aggressive formal exploration of shape and form. Both use the teapot, covered container, cups, bowls, vases, bottles, and plates as vehicles for their ideas about formal, aesthetic, and conceptual values.

Both Roy and Barbara have had long careers as ceramic sculptors. The work on the site is a modest representation of close to 40 years of intense creative work.
