Artists Statement
Two of these works are part
of a series based loosely on the concept of Feng Shui (the ancient
Chinese study of the natural environment). During my research,
I discovered that our surroundings should complement or balance
our personalities. To date, my work has been extremely colorful
and extroverted (as demonstrated by the third work in this show)
and this interest provided the impetus to explore more contemplative,
quiet work
