Cool European equivalent of these ingredients?

    Hi all,
I came across a wonderful glaze book and I'd like to try out some of the recipes in it...
I believe the ingredients may be from the States .....
    Is there European British counterparts?

    Frit 3134 ( Ferro)
    Kona F-4 Feldspar
    Edgar Plastic Kaolin (EPK)
    Frit 3110
    Gerstley Borate
    Reddart clay

    Thanks a lot ...
    NS

    Hello Nadesprockett,
The frits you can buy in Great Btitain, the kona F-4 feldspar is a soda feldspar, you can try any kaolin and for the redart clay try a lowfire red clay. I'm not sure if you can buy the Gerstley borate, but there is a frit substitute, you can ask your supplier. I hope this answer is useful to you. Because the ingredients vary in chemical analysis, its best to make a test first. Good luck, Anneke
