Shuffler adds, “To make a vitreous engobe
that can stand alone with no glaze,
take 1/3 cup of this engobe and add ¼ tsp.
Gerstley and up to 2 tbsp. stain or oxide.”

*Wayne uses his raku clay body in dry form but you could also try using KYOM4 ball clay. Add colorants as desired and bisque fire to cone 08 then apply Raku glazes to the engobe areas.
