Terra Sigillata is an ENGOBE. An engobe is simply "liquid clay" and terra sigillata is a liquid clay made up of the finest particles of clay which have been decanted to separate them from the heavier particles by using a deflocculant.
Fr: I color my whistle, I can create engobe clay and white glaze, spread the clay and bake in the oven? Or do I have to cook once and go after engobe?
