    Default Plasterslabs

    Hello!

I am quite sure that my question doesn't belong here, but like voice mail, none of your choices fit me. I am, after 10 years of classes, setting up my own workshop in an isolated area. I am following instructions for the building of a plaster slab that saids to build the walls to the slab up with clay. Sound practical to me as I can't deal with making any sort of box. My question is whether I should let the clay wall dry out, harden, or just pour my plaster of Paris mix after I have the wall built up. The instruction for the plaster slab comes from one of Jenny Rodwell's books. Thanks.. Sue

    Hi sue,
As soon as you have the walls built up you can pour the plaster. Have some extra wet clay around to use to plug up any leaks that possibly might occur.

    Good Luck,
    Andy
