My name is Karen, and my afternoon internet surfing started off by watching a video of Beatrice Wood, which then of course took me to Gertrude and Otto Naztlers wonderful work, which then got me interested in finding Otto's glaze formulas and voila! Somehow I became emmeshed in this website and joined in the hopes to learn answers, for my zillions of questions in studying my new love of pottery making. I am currently putting together my "shop" which is really an old shed on my property, but I ultimately hope to make and glaze glorious dinnerware and who knows what else along the way. Anyone is southern California who can point me to local functions or seminars, I would sure appreciate it. Life is good!
