Hello, my name is Shawn (I'm a female :P) I'm a student at Shippensburg University in PA. I'm a Psychology major but have always been very interested in making art. I like to paint and draw, but I took my first ceramics class last fall and fell in love. I've always wanted to take ceramics, and now that I have, I wonder why I didn't take it sooner!! I've only had 2 semesters of it. I recently graduated with a BA in psych but am going back for art education want to go on to get my MFA in ceramics. Right now I love making mugs... I like functional pottery a lot, but I have done some hand-building and really liked it. What fascinates me most about this field is no matter how long you are in it, there is still more to learn!
