Hello Clay Community,
My name is Andy Clift. I am the creator and site administrator of this site. I have been a ceramic artist and educator for about fifteen years. I have a passion for clay and love to teach, as well as learn even more about clay.
I feel like I have created a great resource here, but for it to really live up to it's potential I need the clay community to actively participate. One way to help is to simply introduce yourself here.
Please enjoy the site and thanks for visiting!
Regards,
Andy

Hi Steve,
The newsletter is new, which I have sent to all members. I will send only one more newsletter next week using this same method, and then after that I will only send the weekly newsletter to those that have setup their subscriptions to Claystation Connection.
Its good to see you on the site! By the way remember to add your website to the link directory.

Hey Andy, thanks for your hard work that benefits the ceramic community. I look forward to working together in the future.
The more I browse this site, the more impressed I become! You have done an incredible job accumulating information for Clay Station. Thank you for your efforts! I believe that your site will be one of the best resources for both the novice and professional ceramist. I will be back often.
Hello there, Ok I am new to clay and am having fun making Garden Dudes. Learned all about Terra Sig from a local love it. Stains is my newest adventure. Next I am trying to figure out how to make a horse for my niece. I don't have a kiln I plan on just going to the local Ceremics store to have them fire for me. Can't wait. But Major Dilemas with getting the horse shape to stay until the clay hardens up. argggg any pointers. I am using Akio clay maybe that is my problem I have not clue I just bought it and starting playing. hehehe
Hoping this is a place where I can learn from others. Live in the Pacific Northwest and am hoping some day to get to a class. Would love a mentor... to guide me...
Hi there. I live in NSW Australia and have just found this site. I have been interested in ceramics/pottery for approx 20 years on and off. I enjoy making functional and non functional pieces, love raku firing in particular, am experimenting with Cone 6 glazes at present and like to incorporate my love of nature in my work. I am interested in communicating with like minded people as I believe there is so much more to be learned by sharing ideas with others who are as passionate about this craft as I am. I am looking forward to exploring this website.
