Hi,

I'm new to working with clay but it's something I've wanted to do for years. So far I've taken a beginner class in hand building and one basic in throwing. I just picked up a few pieces our instructor fired for us this week and I'm surprised they came out as well as they did!

I have an (old) Paragon kiln that I hope to get going soon and planning to test fire it when I get brave enough! LOL! Hope to learn alot on this site.

I have started ceramics about 1 years ago with once weekly classes. I have just bought a second hand pottery wheel (still at the practising stage). I have done mostly handbuilding before.

Hello, I'm one of those special breeds of figurative artist. I started working with clay in college and have continued with it afterwards. I have been working with ideas of realism and surrealism for some time and have been developing ways of creating ceramic glazes and ceramic techniques to establish realism in ceramics in regards to the figure.
