I'm working in a studio for the first time since 1979 picking up where I left off. The studio houses three pottery businesses so the kilns are owned and maintained by each potter respectively. When the opportunity to fire my stuff (04) surfaces I'm charged a minimal amount which is more than fair. But typically my stuff tends to take up half the space so my opportunities are rare. Building or buying a kiln is not an option as ventilation issues prevent it. There's one artist that offered to share her kiln but fires exclusively at cone 01. I've been working in the 04 - 06 ranges. Can anyone recommend a casting slip (white ware or Porcelain) that is stable at cone 01 and where I can find commercial transparent overglazes as well?
