I stumbled upon your group by accident this morning and am looking forward to interesting times with all of you. I am a retired elementary art teacher who is actively pursuing my addiction to working on a potters wheel. While I was teaching, I put all my energy into helping my students develop their creative side, and now it has been time for me to follow my dreams. I like to experiment with different types of clay and slip and to build sculptures and pots with single clay forms. I am currently using cone 9/10 reduction, but have used cone 6 and 04/06 electric in the past. I like the way gazes look on cone 6 best. My husband built shelves in our garage and now they are full. Now what do I do other than sell my clay babies or give them away?
