hello Cat Ole, I joined this Claystation a while ago, but have never posted anything, only peeked at what others wrote. But when I saw your post I had to shout out. I have been totally fascinated with your work since I discovered it. I too am a raku artist and truthfully get much inspiration from your awsome work. I would love to chat with you and ask a few questions if possible. Above all keep doing what you're doing it's super!!!! Jeri Ann
Hi, it took me this long to get my password and such working. Thank you. I would love to network with you. I always learn from other artists, and I am happy to share what I know. So many artists have inspired me and helped me, I love the opportunity to pass it along.
As for all these do dads (etc) guess I will experiment another day.
Looking forward to hearing from you Jeri Ann.
Hi Cat_Ole, thanks for responding. I have just spent a weekend in Ashville, Nc. Went to the Southern Highland Art Guild Festival. What a wonderful show. I just love seeing what everyone else is doing with their art. I don't know what part of the country you live in but this is one show that is definatelly worth checking out. Anyhow, as I said before I am a true lover of your work. I am focusing on raku at present ,and am in the process of creating a website. The artist statement is giving me some trouble, but I'll figure that out. My question for you is about shipping the work. You have such delicate pieces, with your cat tails and all, I'm just wondering if there is a secert you can share as to the packing and shipping of raku items. Thanks for any info you can share , Jeri
