Greetings and Salutations from snowbound SE Iowa.

As an artist, my primary work is painting in oils and acrylics. My interests in clay are focused in hand built pottery and sculpture. With the former, I am mostly interested in more primitive firing methods, like pit firing, and wood and natural fueled basic kilns. I really love the look and feel of pottery made in that fashion.

My drive to join this community is to share in the exchange of information, and make new friends who share a similar interest.

I am looking forward to what is possible on this forum!
