My name is Brock, and I am a middle school and high school ceramic and art teacher. I have 3 different kilns. A L&L Easy Fire at the middle school, and a Skutt electric and Geil gas at the high school. My only experience with ceramics prior to teaching it was 4 months in high school in 1992-93. After a few glitches and beginner mistakes things are cruising along. I am only doing low-fire cone 06 firings, and need to learn more about using the large gas kiln and high-fire clays. Being directed towards ceramics has been a fun adventure and is a great change from painting and drawing.
