    Cool Nceca

Hi everyone! I am excited to seeing some of you next week in Tampa! Please stop by the Ceramic League of Miami's booth and our 60th Annual Member's Exhibition that will be held in one of the conference rooms at the Hyatt. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Default Potters for Peace exhibitions at NCECA

This year Potters for Peace will host two exciting exhibitions in the Tampa area. At the Hyatt Esplanade III room PFP will have it's biannual U.S. invitational show. More than 50 artists are participating many of whom are nationally known for quality work. All pieces are for sale and 50% of the sale price goes to support PFP's work with ceramic water filters and developing world clay artisans.

At the Milagros gallery in St. Pete is a show of pottery from Nicaragua, a joint effort of Potters for Peace and ProNica. Here you can see and purchase beautiful slip decorated earthenware and meet Consuelo Blandon from the potters community of Santa Rosa, Nicaragua.
Opening receptions for both these shows will be Thursday evening and Consuelo will do a demo of her slip decorating at the Milagros reception.

Potters for Peace will also have tables T21 and 22 in the non-profit area, come by and meet us. On Friday morning PFP director Peter Chartrand will participate in a panel discussion of green practices in the studio.
