Hi I am Kalpana, based out of India. Looking for an school or institute or virtual school to learn about pottery glazing techniques. I basically want to know how to turn a painted pottery ( painted after firing) into a glazed one, that looks like porcelin finished products. Could anyone pls help? Thanks

It is not difficult, you just need to experience and evidence. Buy a ready-made nail polish (there are many sellers on the internet), it mixes with water in a plastic tub, soak a terracotta head for 3 seconds then pull off the nail polish, make a scratch with your fingernail enamel thickness to be 2mm . Start from this, then try nail polish thicker or less thick. I hope you understand.

Thanks EmoArt, this technique seems quite interesting. I will definitely try on my terracota pot.
