Does anybody have a suggestion to bring out the details in a piece when painting it without painting a different color?
I've got a basket that I'd like the small details to show up well & am not quite sure how to do that.
Thanks!
If you want to keep it the same color, it is really about choosing an overall glaze that is transparent or translucent, and enhances the texture by being darker in the recessed areas and lighter on the higher areas. An example of this would be a celadon like glaze. What glazes are you using, and temperature are you firing to?
