Default Water-based clear coat for waterslide decal making?

    Hello all:
I am looking for a water-based substitute to the now-discontinued "Decal Magic TM" by Duncan.
This is essentially a clear-coat that goes over waterslide decal designs that are screened onto special decal paper. It keeps the image intact so that when it is floated in water, it does not separate.

If you know of good water-based paints to use for printing of the actual decal (via silk screen - do you use the paint straight from the can or do you mix it with waterbased gel medium?) - this would be helpful as well.

    Thanks much!

    Marianne,
I received this email from Paul Wandless. Hopefully it will help.

Ceramic Supply in NJ sells Decal Cover Coat. She can order it from them. No water-based paints yet, but we are experimenting with different polymers to try and make it consistent. Will keep you posted on that.
