    Default kiln advise needed

This is a new adventure for me and I need help on what type of kiln to buy and why. I want one that will do at least the hight of about 24 inches, bright colors, glass and clay. Being a beginner I need all the advise I can find.
I know that Paragon has a JANUS series that is made for glass and clay but beyond that I am lost as to the whys and what fors ... can anyone lend some advise? And is it advisable to get a package deal or buy single items?

    Default glass vs. ceramic kiln

    Hi Michele,
You may want to read this article by Aardvark Clay "You can fuse glass in your Ceramic Kiln" http://aardvarkclay.com/pdf/orton_pdfs/GlassArticle.pdf

It gives a lot better explanation then I could ever give. If you have more questions after reading the article please post on this forum again.
