• A New Year, New Goals, And a New Place to Live

I know its been a while since the Claystation's last update but I have been busy moving across the country. After living in Southern California for 12 years my family and I decided to move north, to Portland Oregon. We arrived here just over two weeks ago and we are slowly settling in. Its quite a contrast to Southern California but we are living in the woods in the hills and it's absolutely beautiful.

So with my new surroundings and a new year, I am excited about the future of Claystation.com. A few of the goals I have this year for the Claystation are as follows.
    1. Send out more consistent updates like this one (Claystation Connection).
    2. Transfer the site to a new server. One that is faster, bigger, where I have more control of server configuration, and best of all cheaper. I've all ready found this I just have to find time to prepare and transfer the site.
    3. Find a partner (ceramic supplier) that would like to have a full featured online store on the Claystation.
    4. Build up the Claypedia, Claystation TV, Product Reviews, and the link directory.
    5. Encourage more activity on the forum.
    6. Claystation produced, videos on clay techniques and site "how to's."
    7. Get rid of bugs!
Do you have any goals to make Claystation.com better? Even though I created this site I made it for the clay community, so think of it as your site. Ask yourself how you can contribute to make this a stronger community network/resource for the field of ceramic arts. Discuss it here.

Below there are many new forum discussions, classified listings, and links posted. Also check out the new Steve Tobin video I just posted, on Claystation TV, it's a blast! On a mobile device and don't see them click here.
