Question Porcelain - What are my options?

I have acquired some porcelain, and I am trying to figure out my firing options. I'd love to some naked raku pit firing if that is possible with porcelain. Any suggestions? I am still very much an amateur, so any suggested reading on the subject would be appreciated as well.

I will assume the porcelin body you have is a "true" porcelain ..
that is, requires firing to Cone 10+ to achieve close to zero absorption,
hence will readily hold water without glazing.
If you fire lower, with a glaze, the pot likely will not hold water.
However, since Raku pots are decorative, the clybody should be ok for this
provided you add lots of grog (fine grog is best), up to 20% being wedged
into the body, then formed by a method of choice.
naked Raku would then work if you use an appropriate slip over the
pot -- Steven Branfman's book on Raku (1st or 2nd edn); he gives some
    recipes for the slip resist.

    good pots peace Tom B.
